They are predominantly used for roads, pavement, sidewalks, gardens, and landscaping. The terrazzo tiles producers use aggregates for manufacturing tiles. Aggregates are also used for producing concrete, pre-stressed or stressed on site.

Aggregates are also sourced from river beds and geological formations that have been subject to weathering over millions of years. These are recovered as it is from the river beds or other geological formations without crushing or further processing. They can be used as they are in their natural form and are graded into pebbles having a dimension of 2-5cm.

Depending on customers' requirements, pebbles are sold as it is in their natural form or they may be color-enhanced using solvent-based enhancers.

For DIY use, pebbles are usually packed in pouches weighing 18-20 kgs (40-50 lbs). These pouches are further packed into crates or pallets weighing approximately 1 ton each.
