Natural stones that are suitable for pavings are thicker slabs. Other than slate, all other natural stones offered by Slate Capital have high compressibility and are suitable for road-building applications. These materials are had and in surface finishes other than honed or polished, they offer a reasonable resistance to slipping.

Stepping stones offered by Slate Capital may come in either regular shapes (eg. circles or ovals) or in irregular shapes as per designs shared by customers. When used as stepping stones, pieces are laid individually and not joined together.
Cobblestones are smaller and thicker pieces of natural stone that can be laid on a sand bed and bound with little adhesion. Usually, they bind together and fit tight in the application. To ensure that the pieces bind together firmly, we offer a tumbled finish to smoothen the edges and surfaces thereby allowing a larger surface area to join with each other.
